Here's a review of the Netfix animation series Voltron, a beloved animation series and popular with our students! The review is written by our special student Sofia K. with the aid of her teacher on a very sunny evening. Enjoy!
The basics
The leaders of the team are Shiro (25), Keith (18), Lance (17), Pidge (Katie, 15), Hunk (17). They are all vivid young people who become best friends. The five Voltron Lions (the black, the red, the blue, the green and the yellow Lion) unite their powers and transform into the huge robot named Volton. The team's quest is to save the universe from the evil hands of Zarkon and the witch called Haggar.
What is special about Voltron?
Personally, once I watched the first episode I instantly became a fan. For one thing, it was the first time I watched TV after a while. Another reason the series appealed to me is the action-packed scenes. Although it is an animation series it has a very strong message of being resilient and never ever give up. Moreover, the series' plot is breath-taking and full of unexpected twists which makes the viewer watch episode after episode.
Who is it good for?
Voltron is good for kids from 9 to 14. It's also interesting to parents who would like to spend more time with their kids. I highly recommend this series!
